4 Tips for Brain Training

Hello World💛 Today I would like to share with you a simple brain training that you can do right away.

Do you have any of these problems? “I have been forgetting things lately… I don’t study or work well…” Sometimes I also have days when I feel a bit foggy and out of sorts. I would like to reduce those days as much as possible and think things through properly.

So, in this post I will introduce some simple ways to train your brain so that you can give it a good workout and keep it active at all times.

Read the text aloud

Reading a newspaper, book, online article, or other text aloud for a few minutes is very good for the brain. Listening to your own voice out loud activates the frontal lobe, making it easier to produce the happy hormone serotonin, which relieves stress. This training seems to be best done in the morning.

Walking and stretching

Walking and stretching the body increases blood flow. Oxygen, which is necessary for brain activation, is carried by the blood. Therefore, if blood flow is promoted through light exercise, the amount of oxygen will certainly increase, resulting in better brain function. It is a good idea to do this even for a short time in between tasks.

Try using the opposite hand from your dominant hand

Using the hand opposite to the dominant hand is very stimulating for the brain. It is a completely different movement from what we normally do, and each movement is quite difficult. When you feel that it is difficult, it is a good stimulus for your brain. However, you don’t have to do it all the time, because if you live with the opposite hand from your dominant hand for a whole day, it will interfere with your daily life. I sometimes try to use my left hand when brushing my teeth, using the hair dryer, or brushing.

Before going to bed, remember what happened that day

This method is also very effective in training the brain. By recalling the day’s events at the end of the day, the brain is fully engaged.

What happened that day? What was the most memorable event of the day?

By remembering in this way, the brain is trained. Simply remembering is effective, but writing it down on paper is even more effective. In that sense, diaries and blogs are great brain training exercises.
